Lyrics is a classic 1972 collection - Joni Mitchell, George Harrison, Bob Dylan...

The idea with the green folder was that on one side of the page were the typed prose, poetry etc... on the other side was where I wrote my diary, added poems and lyrics and names of people and drafts of letters I didn't always send.

So Lyrics is in two parts, the ones I set off with and those that got added along the way, mostly from Yannis jukebox on Ios in the Greek Islands. Ios then was another place - no cars, no discos, just two cafes, both called Yannis, but only one with the jukebox. I spent two months there.
